Embodied Relational Diploma in Counselling (Levels 3 & 4)
A deeply relational and embodied pathway into counselling practice, shaped by a wide constellation of therapeutic, developmental, and cultural lineages that honour the complexity of human experience.
NARM® Training options
Developed by Dr. Laurence Heller, NARM® is a groundbreaking clinical model for addressing developmental and complex trauma.
The Trauma Training Institute (TTI) UK is a dedicated provider of professional training in relational, embodied, and experiential trauma approaches, including the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM®).
Our Approach
Relational and Somatic Foundations
Rooted in contemporary relational and somatic approaches (including NARM, Somatic Experiencing, body psychotherapy, biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and NA Touch), we centre attuned relationship, nervous system regulation, and a growing capacity for agency, choice, and contact.
Developmental and Relational Psychology
Drawing from developmental psychology, attachment theory, object relations, and relational psychoanalysis, we explore how early relational environments shape patterns of protection, identity, and connection, and how these may soften in the presence of safety and relationship.
Ecological and Justice-Informed Perspectives
Informed by earth-based understandings and nature-connected practices, we hold healing within larger living systems, alongside decolonial and social justice reflection on power, culture, difference, and social context.
We specialise in in-person, experiential training because we believe experiential learning deepens our capacity for working with complex trauma in relationship.
Our live trainings provide the clinical depth that supports an embodied and relational understanding of trauma work, cultivating the capacity for presence, connection and therapeutic attunement, so foundational to relational and somatic approaches (including NARM®).

Our Mission
Our mission at TTI UK is to enhance clinical practice by providing practitioners relational, embodied, and experiential tools that clinically sophisticated and innovative trauma approaches offer with a focus on attuned relationship, nervous system regulation, agency, choice, and repair), including the pioneering and profound work of Dr. Laurence Heller's NARM® model, which we are proud to champion across the UK, Ireland and further afield.
We support a diverse range of professionals — from psychologists, psychotherapists and counsellors to coaches, mental health nurses, bodyworkers and educators — offering the transformative tools that approaches such as NARM® and other relational and somatic modalities provide for working with impacts of difficult childhood experiences and relational wounding on our capacity to lead healthy and fulfilling lives.
