NARM® Informed Professional Training

A multi-disciplinary training that introduces the NeuroAffective Relational Model® for Healing Complex Trauma

Join the growing movement of helping professionals who are transforming their work through a deep understanding of complex trauma.

This comprehensive multidisciplinary professional training introduces you to NARM® (NeuroAffective Relational Model®), a pioneering approach specifically designed to address the lasting impacts of adverse childhood experiences and developmental trauma.

Why NARM® for Your Professional Development

As our understanding of trauma-informed care rapidly evolves, NARM® stands as one of the most comprehensive and effective frameworks available. This psychoeducational training will deepen your practice by helping you understand the psychobiological patterns that develop as a result of adverse childhood experience (ACE’s) that go on to create lifelong symptoms in those you work with.

Unlike traditional trauma approaches, NARM® provides a unique lens for understanding how developmental, relational, cultural, and intergenerational trauma shapes the nervous system and creates adaptive survival patterns that persist into adulthood.

What You'll Learn
Through this accessible yet thorough training, you'll develop a sophisticated understanding of how ACEs shape the nervous system, attachment patterns, and survival strategies.

You'll learn to:

  • Recognise the core themes and survival patterns that underlie complex trauma, giving you powerful new insights into the clients and populations you work with
  • Identify how early adaptive strategies become sources of disconnection and dysregulation in adult life
  • Apply NARM®'s organising principles to support nervous system regulation and authentic connection
  • Utilise practical interventions that help clients reconnect with their core self and natural capacity for healing
  • Understand the difference between working with symptoms versus addressing underlying survival patterns
  • Develop skills for supporting clients in moving from survival-based functioning toward thriving and authentic self-expression

This training provides you with concrete tools and frameworks that you can immediately be integrated into your existing practice, whether you're supporting individual clients, groups, or entire communities affected by complex trauma.
